Dr. Ravi Shankar was schooled at Baldwin Boys’ high school and Bishop Cotton Boys’ school, Bangalore and then realizing that his temperament and outlook on life was best suited for a doctor, he went on to complete his basic medical education from Sri Siddhartha Medical College and went on to pursue his masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from SRM university, Chennai.

He has also completed his Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine under Dr Kamini Rao at Milann Fertility Centre, Bangalore and obtained his Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from the prestigious Kiel University, Germany under the tutelage of Dr Lisolette Mettler during which time he has assisted and performed hundreds of IVF cycles and Gynecological endoscopic procedures.
